Structure and working principle of high temperature melt pump

Melt gear pump consists of pump casing, front and rear side cover, gear shaft, sliding bearing and shaft seal. Melt gear pump belongs to the positive displacement pump, work on the master and slave gear meshing caused by the working volume changes to transport the melt. The working volume consists of the pump body, the gear's tooth groove and the bearing with side plate function. When the gear rotates, the melt enters into the tooth grooves of the two gears in the suction chamber, and as the gears rotate, the melt is brought into the discharge chamber from both sides, and the gears mesh again, so that the melt in the tooth grooves is extruded into the discharge chamber, and pressurized to the outlet pipe. As long as the pump shaft rotates, the gears will press and send the melt to the outlet side, so the pump outlet can reach a very high pressure, and the flow rate is basically irrelevant to the discharge pressure.
